Why there is no "force 1080p" button
A video can only be downloaded at qualities that exist. If the uploader provided 720p, there is no 1080p file anywhere to fetch — a site claiming to "upgrade" it would be enlarging pixels, which looks worse, not better. VidMotion lists the versions that genuinely exist and nothing else.
Reading the quality list
- Each entry is one version the source offers, labelled with its real resolution.
- File size is shown when the source reports it — useful for judging whether a higher number is worth the extra megabytes.
- The recommended entry is the best balance of quality and size, not automatically the largest file.
Step by step
1Paste the video link
www.dailymotion.com/video/x…
or
dai.ly/…
.
2Compare the versionsLook at resolution and size side by side.
3Pick one and saveThe MP4 is prepared with its audio track intact.
If only 720p is listed, that is the ceiling for that video. Downloading the 720p version gives you a clean file; asking a tool to output 1080p would only stretch it.
Honest limits
- Nothing is invented or upscaled — the list mirrors the source exactly.
- Up to 30 minutes and 500 MB per file.
- One download at a time; a short queue may apply.
